warm soup and a smile...

I dont know why I remembered this story but here you go. ....

A few years ago I was in the business of selling wine. I was in Chicago and running between my retail places that I needed to visit. At a Whole foods there was a man outside who was selling streetwise. If your form Chicago you know what this is. Its a local newspaper that help out the home less by giving them a chance to start working. Any ways I was busy and I rushed in. On the way out it had just started to snow. I was hungry and bought my self soup and watched this man through the window. I bought a second large lobster bisque some rolls with butter and sodas. I went out side in the light snow and sat with this man. I traded him some hot soup for his story ..... It threw him off but I think that the smile he have me was one of the most honest smiles that I had ever seen...... We sat and talked. Enjoying both lunch and each others company. I wish the world was more like those ten minutes.....
