It was slow today at work and I forgot to bring a news paper to keep me
occupied inbetween calls. I had time to think on things that changed my
life. I almost died when I was 25, but I don' think that changed my
perspective too puch from when it started. I married when I was 29, even
that didn't cjange me too much. I still look at skirts and flirt with
women. The birth of my first son , now that was major. Now I was a dad. ...
Thats a major change. The second born not to much agin I was already a dad.
9/11 that changed my brain. I always had a dark heart but now it seems
more focused more agressive. Its not fear but a sence of protection. The
motorcycle accident .. that humbled me a little. Sure that class was great
but i think I was cocky and too eger to run wild. Now I have to say when I
ride its with fear. I still need to get miles behind me to shake some of
that off.

mid week update...
Where I work I am on a rotating 6 week schedual. Week 3 I have sunday off as well as thursday and friday. On the 6th week I have sunday through wednesday off. Now the days off are optional and you can come in. In the last 3 three years I have nottaken advantage of the full four days off. I have felt stir crazy and weird. I have decided to take all four this week. Most guys live ofr these four days off. ... In my working life I have not taked much time off. My father never did and I guess it runs in the family. ....... It feels weird being at home and working on things through out the day but not careing about the work place. Truth be told I feel odd when Im not working life Im missing somthing. Not I am not a workaholic ... I work 50 -55 hours a week but I take lunches and an occasional time out to visit the comic book store.-- On st paddys day I took a friend home after driniking and shse has saved 6 months worth of time off. Thats 40 hours / week * 4 weeks * 6 months .... lost of time. Shes also planning on buying a house. I wish her luch and told her I'd help her move buy I dont carry weights, pennys or cinder blocks ( personal moving rules) .
---- Bike update...The new date for the motorcycle classes are out. I have forwareded them to a few close friends. Some will take the class or their spouses will. Others will take the class again. it cost $20 for 20 hours of instruction. Actually the class is free at the end you get a tshirt or you can get your money back. The $20 was to hold your place. Illinois has the best set up for this. When a noew motorcycle is purchased or when plated are re newed some money goes to the state to pay for these classes. In other states you have to pay $50-200 for the same class. Privately the class runs $300- Its awsome folks ...and very fun.
At a bike show at the rosemont Ray and my self were given $15 dollar coupons - we went up to the shop and bought all sorts of motor oil and coolant. The only thing I need is a filter and we will get his bike as well as mine ready for the spring. I tried riding about 2 weeks ago and the wind made it feel damn cold. ...

St pattys night
Well I'll be the first to tell you that I was not in the mood to go out. I
had worked from 9am to 8pm on Friday. I got there to our local tap and it
was filled to the gills. I was many friends and had a few beers. The bad
part was that my friends hd been there for 4-5 hours already so many of
them were already plastered. Some were fun to deal with others became
bigger assh*les. I had to tell my one of my friends to get the f*ck
awayfrom me. -- The highlight of the night was watching the bagpipe and
drum corp come in and play several tunes. ABout 4 drumers and 5 pipers. --
I stayed out till 3 am and had to be at work at 8 am. I'm beat and hungry
but not hung over, I'm going to all my friends to see how they woke up. -
I'm going to guess not so good.

cartoons

This is a rant I will be using hateful language so if ya can't take it fuck off. ---- I am so sick of these fucking rug heads. 9/11 happens , oil prices go through the fucking roof , bombs wars and now because of fucking cartoons people are dying.... get the fuck out of the 7th god damn century you bastards. What kills me about these protsets is they are doing them in countries where you have the rights to do so. in their own god forsaken lands they would have been be headed for this. I saw a fucking sign of one of these protestors .... Freedom of speech os not part of our religion .... ok then go the fuck back. ...... Normally I stay out of the area of war and politics but I am a huge proponent of the first amendment that I will speak out about this. ..... Fuckers just make the whole mid east a glass parking lot

poker and lazyness...

Its funny ...only in the last year have I really developed work friends. When I worked on the south side I didn't let my self get close to any one because I knew I was only going to stay there for less than a year NOw that I've been hee awhile I've opened up to some fells here. We've had a once/twice a month card games for the better part of a year. The kinda suck part is that we tend to do them during the week because most of us work Sat nights (retail car sales). Last night really beat me up. I drank quite a few beers and whiskeys . I woke up at 1030 went to work at 1130 . I sat in my office with a smile and decided to leave , so at 12 18 I walked out of work afer speaking with a manager. I napped until 330pm....... I forgot how nice lazy naps are. Sure I wanted to go to the hard ware store and buy some paint, but the weight of the lazy day took hold. I think that the dog was taking it easy as well, he was up til 4 am along side me. He was slow to get up to go outside and just as lazy as I was today- the sofa was his home today. I am going to make a burger and take a nap again.....zzzzz
