Where I work I am on a rotating 6 week schedual. Week 3 I have sunday off as well as thursday and friday. On the 6th week I have sunday through wednesday off. Now the days off are optional and you can come in. In the last 3 three years I have nottaken advantage of the full four days off. I have felt stir crazy and weird. I have decided to take all four this week. Most guys live ofr these four days off. ... In my working life I have not taked much time off. My father never did and I guess it runs in the family. ....... It feels weird being at home and working on things through out the day but not careing about the work place. Truth be told I feel odd when Im not working life Im missing somthing. Not I am not a workaholic ... I work 50 -55 hours a week but I take lunches and an occasional time out to visit the comic book store.-- On st paddys day I took a friend home after driniking and shse has saved 6 months worth of time off. Thats 40 hours / week * 4 weeks * 6 months .... lost of time. Shes also planning on buying a house. I wish her luch and told her I'd help her move buy I dont carry weights, pennys or cinder blocks ( personal moving rules) .
---- Bike update...The new date for the motorcycle classes are out. I have forwareded them to a few close friends. Some will take the class or their spouses will. Others will take the class again. it cost $20 for 20 hours of instruction. Actually the class is free at the end you get a tshirt or you can get your money back. The $20 was to hold your place. Illinois has the best set up for this. When a noew motorcycle is purchased or when plated are re newed some money goes to the state to pay for these classes. In other states you have to pay $50-200 for the same class. Privately the class runs $300- Its awsome folks ...and very fun.
At a bike show at the rosemont Ray and my self were given $15 dollar coupons - we went up to the shop and bought all sorts of motor oil and coolant. The only thing I need is a filter and we will get his bike as well as mine ready for the spring. I tried riding about 2 weeks ago and the wind made it feel damn cold. ...
