Day of the dead...

Nov 1 is the Dia de los Muertos (The day of the dead). In Mexico family would traditionaly go to the grave site pf a loved one and clean it from top to bottom. They would also make a day of it a kind of picnic of the day. Stories would be told of you to other family members. It makes death a part of life. Sure you still mourn your lost loved one , but its a natural part of life. - I missed out on going to the Mexican bakery and picking up a pan de los muertos (bread of the dead). Its a semi sweet bread that is great with coffee. I would love to find skull candies here in the USA but I have not looked that hard for them. So tonight is you read this... think about some one that you lost in your life and remember the good things that he/she may have taught you about life.
