Saturday was a busy day at work. I met with several stupid customers that day. The first came in to see what his car was worth. If your price was better than another dealers he would see it to us. He said he recieved a letter from the other dealer that they were looking to buy cars for their used car lot. I tried to explain that this was a scam and they only want you in the door to sell you a car he seemed confused. I didnt feel like going on so I wished him luck. Dumb ass #2 came in with his wife. The looked for a car and found one the liked they wanted to buy the car. When I had their car appraised to went for $6000. He thought they owed $9000. Not horrible but not good. Turns out he forgot they had a second payment book and really owed .....$19000 for $9000. Whoops dumb ass . I guess its no new car for you. --- I was fuming I had just wasted 3 hours with these people. A fellow sales man told me " Hey I know your mad for not getting commision and wasting three hours, That guy just got screwed out of $10000 more dollars in ten minutes".... The auto industry thrives on stupid people. They make big money on deals done with some and mirrors. Like the new deal that maintence and gas is free for 2 years.... do you really think the car companies are just going to give that away, NO!!. You actually pay fo r that in inflated prices of the new cars. anyways Im just ranting about work and you dont need to hear that....
in other news , spent some time putting up lights. not done yet I will finnish up next week. Tuesday I'm off to Wichita , Ks. Work is work and i'm actually looking forward to it. Its only for a week ,but I think this will give me a refresher that I need when I get back. ---- I hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving day. If I dont post for a week its because I might not have internet access, but we'll see..... Laters ...
